Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service are hosting some HeartStart Instructor Training courses (delivered by North West Ambulance Service) as follows: Monday 16th January @ Barrow Fire Station (9.30am – 4pm) or Tuesday 24th January @ Fire Service Headquarters (9.30am – 4pm) The course covers : - Contacting the emergency services - Putting a casualty into the recovery position - Dealing with a suspected heart attack - Suggestions of what to do when somebody is choking - Dealing with a casualty who is bleeding - Performing CPR Alternatively, if you would prefer us to deliver a 2 x hour course for a group in your area, please let me know and we can arrange this for you.
